Renegades Football Hosting Open Tryouts for Fall Season
With the inaugural 2010 WSFL season less than two months away, the Renegades will be conducting open tryouts for the next 3 Sunday practices. There is no fee to tryout and anyone that wishes to play with the Renegades for the upcoming season must attend one of the tryouts.
Tryouts will take place during Renegades' practice and players will be timed in the 40 yard dash along with being evaluated at their respective positions.
The team is currently seeking players at all positions and anyone coming to tryout will have every opportunity to earn a starting position.
In addition, player fees have been dropped to $75 which now covers the cost of uniform rental. Players will still be responsible for providing their own equipment. However, players should contact Patrick Hansen about ways to fund-raise to help offset the cost of both the players fee and the purchase of equipment.
Tryouts will take place at the following practices: Sunday, June 27; Wednesday, June 30; Sunday, July 11th. Practices are held at Abendschein Park in Oak Creek. Directions can be found by clicking HERE. Practices/Tryouts will start immediately at 1:30pm so players are asked to show up early.
