Cudahy’s Kathleen Rytman, an avid ultra runner has joined Team Aquaphor to promote the benefits of active lifestyle products and encourage amateur athletes to pursue sponsorship opportunities.

Recruited from thousands of runners, cyclists, triathletes, mountain bikers and swimmers across the country, Rytman was chosen by Team Aquaphor for her past road racing achievements and her leadership abilities. As a Team Aquaphor member, Rytman will train and compete wearing the sponsors logos and actively use the sponsors’ products and services. Team Aquaphor, sponsored by Aquaphor will provide Rytman with branded apparel to wear in training and competition and products to sample with other athletes at weekend races.

“As and amateur athlete, joining Team Aquaphor gives me the opportunity to pursue my sport, experience new products to improve performance, and share my feedback with other athletes,” explained Rytman. “The team also provides apparel for my workouts and incentives for promoting products.”

Rytman, a Cudahy resident, just finished running the Beer Run 100 mile run from Elgin IL to Kettle Moraine State Park in WI. Her next event is Dances With Dirt, Devils Lake WI, a 50 mile run.

About Team Aquaphor

Team Aquaphor, presented by the official sponsor Aquaphor is a sponsored athlete program developed and managed by Active Marketing Group, an integrated marketing and consumer promotions agency. A division of The Active Network, Inc., the agency helps sponsors get their brands in front of millions of active consumers across the country through peer-to-peer marketing by amateur endurance athletes. The role of these athletes is to promote their sponsors by wearing branded apparel and using and promoting the sponsors’ products during workouts and competitions. From running and cycling to triathlons and swimming- the dedicated athletes of Team Aquaphor do it all and consistently take top honors in racing events both nationally and abroad. Their success is due in part to their use of Aquaphor (www.aquaphorhealing.com) , a dermatologist-recommended healing ointment and a product of Beiersdorf, Inc., designed to help prevent chafing during workouts and competitions.
