Cousins Subs Honors Teachers Who Make a Difference in Local Community

June 27, 2014

In conjunction with Teacher Appreciation Month, Cousins Subs honored teachers in the Milwaukee community who are making a difference in the classroom.

Winners of the ‘Teachers Make It Better’ contest were awarded free subs for one year and Party Boxes for their classrooms. Throughout the month of May, guests at Cousins Subs locations across the greater Milwaukee and Madison, Wis. areas nominated these influential educators who work at the following schools:

• Central Middle School, Waukesha
• Humboldt Park School, Milwaukee
• Kosciuszko Elementary School, Cudahy
• Longfellow Elementary School, Milwaukee
• Nathan Hale High School, West Allis
• US Grant Elementary School, Milwaukee
• Sandburg Elementary School, Madison
• Silver Spring Elementary School, Milwaukee
• South Milwaukee High School, Milwaukee
• West Allis Central High School, West Allis

“The winners we selected are committed to going above and beyond to improve the lives of their students,” said Justin McCoy, vice president of marketing for Cousins Subs. “An important part of Cousins’ mission is to ‘Make It A Better Day.’ We wanted to recognize these hard-working teachers who strive to make it a better day every day.”
