CUDAHY

BURGLARY

A laptop computer, digital camera, video game console and video game valued at a combined $1,660 were taken from a residence on the 3600 block of East Underwood Avenue on Sept. 21. A side door was forced open in the burglary, causing $200 in damage.

Coins and stamps with a total value of $193 were taken from St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 3515 E. Van Norman Ave., between Oct. 16-17. A doorknob/lock and filing cabinet sustained $205 damage in the theft.

THEFT

Cash of $1,200 and an video game console and video game valued at $460 were taken from an unlocked residence on the 3800 block of East Edgerton Avenue on Sept. 29.

A rare Gibson electric guitar valued at $25,000 was taken from its guitar case under a bed along with three gold rings of undetermined value from an apartment of the 6200 block of South Lake Drive. The theft was reported to police on Oct. 13.

Six stacks of $100 bills valued at anywhere from $600 to $10,000 were taken from a trailer home on the 5900 block of South Packard Avenue on Oct. 17. The victim of the theft told police that a woman he had previously given money to at a grocery store came to his trailer with a small child and distracted him, and that he determined the money was missing after she left.

A car audio amplifier and two speakers valued at $220 were taken from a car parked on the 2900 block of East Adams Avenue between Oct. 21-23. A trunk lock punched out in the car break-in had $100 in damage.

Scrap metal valued at $200 was taken from outside Avenue Auto, 5231 S. Pennsylvania Ave., between Oct. 24-25.

A cell phone and case valued at $549 was taken from a patient under sedation in the emergency room at South Shore St. Luke's Hospital, 5900 S. Lake Drive, on Oct. 25.

Prescription glasses valued at $400 were taken from an unlocked car parked at Ramsey Woods on the 3200 block of East Ramsey Avenue on Oct. 26-27.

ASSAULT

A 77-year-old Cudahy woman told police she was struck on the head with a board or a bat by an unknown male youth between the 3600 and 3700 block of East Ramsey Avenue on Oct. 13. The woman was riding on a motorized cart, and the suspect was riding a BMX bicycle and performing tricks on the bike when she told police she passed him and was struck in the head by an unknown object.

A 30-year-old Cudahy woman was cited for disorderly conduct and battery after striking a 21-year-old female several times in the head and face in a residence on the 3600 block of East Squire Avenue on Oct. 24.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana in an apartment on the 5600 block of South Buckhorn Avenue after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Oct. 25.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 46-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after an officer responded to a report of an argument on the street between the man and his girlfriend on the 3500 block of East Squire Avenue on Oct. 19. Witnesses told police the man has been driving his van prior to the dispute. His blood alcohol content was 0.19.

A 57-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for drunken driving, having open intoxicants in her car and improper speed after striking a vehicle stopped at the intersection of East Barnard and South Kirkwood avenues on Oct. 28.

VANDALISM

A steel entry door sustained $200 in damage when it was dented in an apartment on the 5500 block of South O'Brien Avenue on Sept. 29.

OTHER

One incident of domestic violence was reported to Cudahy police.

ST. FRANCIS

THEFT

A 54-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for taking $128 in groceries from Pick 'n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., on Oct. 21.

Steel tubing worth $1,000 was taken from the rear of L-W Machine. 1780 Bolivar Ave., between Oct. 27-28.

VANDALISM

Three mailboxes and a mailbox pole valued at $300 were struck by an unknown vehicle on the 4300 block of South Iowa Avenue on Oct. 24.

OTHER

One incident of domestic violence was reported to St. Francis Police.

SOUTH MILWAUKEE

THEFT

A self-propelled lawnmower valued at $325 was taken from the backyard of a residence on the 200 block of Menomonee Avenue between Oct. 25-26.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 16-year-old South Milwaukee boy was arrested for possession of marijuana on the 700 block of Marion Avenue on Oct. 27.

VANDALISM

A pumpkin thrown from a passing vehicle caused $1,500 damage to a van parked on the 1200 block of 17th Avenue on Oct. 26.

OTHER

A 37-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after reportedly threatening a 31-year-old South Milwaukee man with a knife during an altercation in an apartment residence on the 2400 block of 15th Avenue on Oct. 26. The 31-year-old man who was the target of the threat was also arrested based on having an outstanding municipal warrant with Jackson police.

An overhead garage door on the 1500 block of South Lake Drive sustained $200 in damage that was caused by an unknown driver passing through the alley on Oct. 27-28.

One incident of domestic violence was reported to South Milwaukee Police.
