A television and $40 were taken from an apartment in the 6200 block of South Lake Drive prior to 6:41 a.m. Aug. 4. A guest in the home is suspected. Loss is estimated at $540.


A 34-year-old Cudahy man and two 33-year-old Cudahy women were cited for disorderly conduct and battery in the 5500 block of South O'Brien Avenue about 11:30 p.m. July 23.


A 41-year-old Washburn man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, in the 3900 block of East Layton Avenue about 12:17 a.m. Aug. 5. His blood alcohol content was 0.25.


Graffiti was written in marker on the playground and walls of Lincoln Elementary School, 4416 S. Packard Ave., between 3 p.m. July 20 and 1:40 p.m. July 25.

A 47-year-old Cudahy woman was cited for vandalism for slamming a roommate's laptop on the ground after an argument in the 3600 block of East Carpenter Avenue prior to 8:22 a.m. Aug. 4.


A 44-year-old Cudahy woman was reported for fraud at 9 a.m. July 23 for obtaining money from Ladish Communi ty Credit Union, 5570 S. Packard Ave., with an illegitimate cashier's check. No one was arrested because the credit union agreed to accept restitution rather than pursue charges, and the money was paid back.

A 36-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for disorderly conduct and vandalism and a 28-year-old Cudahy man was cited for disorderly conduct in the 5500 block of South O'Brien Avenue about 2:28 a.m. July 28 after a fight between neighbors.

A 17-year-old Cudahy boy was arrested for disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon at Cudahy Park, 3000 E. Ramsey Ave., about 8 p.m. July 30, after it was reported that he had threatened people there with a knife.


A residential garage in the 3700 block of East Munkwitz Avenue started on fire about 10:30 p.m. Aug. 2. The cause is unknown. Damage is estimated at $5,100.

A couch and recycling bin started on fire in the alley in the 3700 block of East Martin Avenue about 4:15 p.m. Aug. 7. Damage is estimated at $51.

St. Francis

The St. Francis Police Department released no new reports this week.

South Milwaukee


A 2003 Kia was taken from the 2000 block of 10th Avenue prior to 2:40 p.m. Aug. 4. Loss is estimated at $3,000.

Two bikes were taken from a property in the 1200 block of Michigan Avenue prior to 2:45 p.m. Aug. 4. The bike lock was cut. Loss is estimated at $300.

A boat was taken from a driveway in the 1200 block of North Chicago Avenue prior to 5 a.m. Aug. 5. It was found in Caledonia.

A steel garbage can rack was taken from the 300 block of Marshall Avenue prior to 5:50 p.m. Aug. 9.


A 45-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving at Chicago and Montana avenues about 12:22 a.m. Aug. 4.

A 38-year-old Oak Creek woman was arrested for drunken driving at Fifth and Columbia avenues about 2:27 a.m. Aug. 4.

A 26-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 3200 block of Fifth Avenue at 12:24 a.m. Aug. 5.

A 22-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 600 block of Menomonee Avenue at 2:34 a.m. Aug. 5.

A woman was arrested for drunken driving, fourth offense and hit and run in the 1300 block of Manitowoc Avenue at 1:07 a.m. Aug. 7. Witnesses said her car struck two others.

A 23-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving at College and Chicago avenues at 2:39 a.m. Aug. 7.


A parked truck was struck by another vehicle in the 1700 block of Mackinac Avenue between Aug. 4 and Aug. 7. The striking vehicle drove away unidentified. Damage is estimated at $1,000.


Tires were slashed on a vehicle in the 1300 block of Minnesota Avenue prior to 10:40 a.m. Aug. 5.


A man was arrested for obstructing an investigation in the 1400 block of Marquette Avenue after leading officers on a four-block foot chase that began in the 1300 block of Milwaukee Avenue about 11:40 p.m. Aug. 5. Neighbors said the man and another man had smashed a beer bottle on the sidewalk and were loud and disorderly.

A juvenile was arrested for underage drinking at Chicago and Menomonee avenues at 10:23 p.m. Aug. 6.


Trash cans started on fire outside Walgreens, 2901 S. Chicago Ave., about 12:30 a.m. Aug. 5.
