A bicycle and nine sets of cookware were taken from a garage in the 2800 block of East Vogel Avenue between noon Aug. 5 and noon Aug. 7.
A gym bag was taken from a locker at Blast Fitness, 2525 E. Layton Ave., between 5:30 and 6:50 p.m. Aug. 5. Bag contents included an iPhone, two credit cards and $20 cash.
Police are investigating theft of $384 worth of lottery tickets by a man at 2:07 a.m. Aug. 6 from Speedway, 6265 S. Pennsylvania Ave. According to police reports, the same man is also suspected of stealing lottery tickets in July at the same store and another Cudahy gas station.
A 34-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and battery after he allegedly slapped his 23-year-old wife in the 3300 block of East Grange Avenue at about 10 a.m. Aug. 10.
A 28-year-old man was arrested for battery, domestic-violence related, after allegedly shoving his 27-year-old wife during a quarrel in the 2900 block of East Grange Avenue at 9:51 p.m. Aug. 13.
A 34-year-old Cudahy woman was cited for operating while intoxicated and operating without insurance in the 2400 block of East Edgerton Avenue at 2:14 a.m. Aug. 3. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.24. She has two previous convictions for operating while intoxicated.
A windshield on a vehicle was smashed in the 3500 block of East Plankinton Avenue overnight Aug. 7-8. Damage was estimated at $250.
Graffiti was spray painted on Arlynn’s Laundromat, 4744 S. Packard Ave., between 8:30 p.m. and midnight Aug. 13. Damage was estimated at $20.
A crank-out window was found broken and an exhaust vent was discovered bent Aug. 1 at Willow Glen Elementary School, 2600 E. Bolivar Ave. Damage was estimated at $1,650.
A 37-year-old South Milwaukee man was charged with retail theft and a 32-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for receiving stolen property after an incident at 8:27 p.m. Aug. 7 at Walmart, 222 N. Chicago Ave. According to police reports the 37-year-old man took a laptop computer valued at $1,000 and sold it to the 32-year-old for $40 shortly afterwards.
A children’s bicycle valued at $70 was stolen from a yard in the 2400 block of Fifth Avenue between 5 p.m. Aug. 9 and 7 p.m. Aug. 10.
A GPS system and about $4 in coins were taken from a car resident in the 700 block of Hillcrest Avenue overnight Aug. 10 or 11.
Three teenage males were arrested at 10:06 p.m. Aug. 3 after they were found trying to gain entry to Divine Mercy School, 675 College Ave. An 18-year-old from South Milwaukee was cited for marijuana possession, a 16-year-old from South Milwaukee was cited for underage tobacco possession, and a 17-year-old from Oak Creek was arrested on a previous warrant.
Three persons were cited for marijuana possession after they were found in a car parked in the 3500 block of Ninth Avenue at 12:45 p.m. Aug. 6. They were a 23-year-old South Milwaukee woman, a 24-year-old Cudahy man and a 31-year-old Cudahy man.
A 60-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for operating while intoxicated at 9:18 p.m. Aug. 5 following a traffic stop in the 400 block of North Chicago Avenue. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.18. The man told police he had a loaded gun in the car and a concealed carry permit. He has been charged with endangering safety with a dangerous weapon.
A 19-year-old Oak Creek man was cited for operating while intoxicated at 1:30 a.m. Aug. 10 at the intersection of 16th and Milwaukee avenues. A breath test indicated a preliminary BAC of 0.13.
A 32-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for operating while intoxicated at 2:27 a.m. Aug. 10 in the 2100 block of 10th Avenue. A breath test indicated a preliminary BAC of 0.19.
Two residents of the 1300 block of Manitoba Avenue reported their vehicles were scratched with a key between 2:45 and 4:25 p.m. Aug. 3. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $500.
An 81-year-old Franklin man was cited for failure to yield after a collision at the intersection of 15th and Park avenues at 3:20 p.m. Aug. 11. According to police reports the Franklin man was going eastbound after stopping at the corner before striking a northbound vehicle, driven by a 67-year-old South Milwaukee woman, on 15th Avenue.
Two South Milwaukee boys, ages 13 and 14, were cited for underage alcohol consumption at 7:05 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 2900 block of South Chicago Avenue.
A 51-year-old South Milwaukee man reported losing his debit card at about 2 p.m. Aug. 9 while walking on the beach at Grant Park. According to police reports the debit card was used that evening to purchase $61.63 worth of gasoline at a Milwaukee service station.
Three 14-year-old South Milwaukee males were cited for disorderly conduct at 10:06 p.m. Aug. 10 after they were found attempting to go onto the roof of a vacant bowling alley building at 305 N. College Ave.
A 47-year-old woman was cited for disorderly conduct and resisting an officer after cursing loudly in the 700 block of Minnesota Avenue at 10:51 p.m. Aug. 10. According to police reports the woman had been quarreling with her 15-year-old daughter.
Police responded to three domestic violence incidents between Aug. 8 and 14.
