St. Francis

BURGLARY

Two LCD televisions were stolen from Henni Hall at St. Francis Seminary, 3257 S. Lake Drive, between 11:15 p.m. Feb. 2 and 10:30 a.m. Feb. 3. Loss is estimated at $700.

THEFT

A purse was taken from a car in the 4500 block of South Kansas Avenue before 9 a.m. Feb. 6. A woman found a wallet that had been in the purse laying on a snowbank and returned it to its owner, but the Social Security card and a store credit card were missing. A laptop computer in the car was not taken.

OTHER

A 58-year-old St. Francis woman and a 32-year-old St. Francis man were cited for trespassing after they were found living in an apartment in the 2200 block of East St. Francis Avenue that had been vacated by one of their relatives more than a week earlier at 9:48 a.m. Feb. 1.

Cudahy

THEFT

A 60-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for retail theft for trying to take a beer out of Pick 'n Save, 5851 S. Packard Ave., about 9:49 a.m. Feb. 1.

A 39-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited for retail theft at Pick 'n Save, 5851 S. Packard Ave., about 2:46 p.m. Feb. 2. She brought a large tote bag into the store, and as she shopped, she placed some items in the cart and some in the bag. When she went through the checkout, she only paid for those items in the cart.

The license plates were stolen off a car in the 3500 block of East Armour Avenue between 1 and 5 p.m. Feb. 3.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for drunken driving in the 3200 block of East Layton Avenue at 2:36 a.m. Feb. 2 after he was pulled over for unsafe lane deviation and expired registration. His blood alcohol content was 0.17.

VANDALISM

A vehicle's window was shot with a BB in the 3700 block of East Morris Avenue between 4:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Feb. 3. Damage is estimated at $300.

OTHER

A 51-year-old Cudahy man was cited for disorderly conduct in the 3500 block of East Plankinton Avenue at 12:23 a.m. Feb. 2 after neighbors complained he was banging the walls, yodeling and making other loud noises that prevented them from sleeping. Police had been dispatched to the man's residence six times in the past 10 days for similar complaints, and he had been cited for disorderly conduct at 4:04 a.m. Feb. 1 as well. The case is being evaluated for possible nuisance property status.

A 40-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for recklessly endangering safety in connection with the stabbing of his son, a 20-year-old Cudahy man, in their home in the 3700 block of East Layton Avenue on Feb. 4. The case was referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office, which found the victim was uncooperative and chose not to process the case. A 40-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for obstructing an investigation after she refused to obey officers at the scene. The two were issued municipal citations.

South Milwaukee

BURGLARY

A 15-year-old South Milwaukee boy and a 19-year-old West Allis man were arrested for burglary after Papa Luigi's Pizza, 1919 12th Ave., was broken into at 6:45 a.m. Jan. 28.

Two speakers were stolen from a storage unit in the 2000 block of 10th Avenue before 3 p.m. Feb. 3. Loss is estimated at $300. The hinge for a lock on the storage unit was pried off.

THEFT

A 26-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for stealing two roles of wire and bail-jumping in the 1200 block of Minnesota Avenue about 6 p.m. Jan. 25. He is accused of taking two roles of wire.

A 6-foot-tall wooden bear carving was taken from a property in the 3000 block of 17th Place before 9 a.m. Jan. 28.

A vehicle's steering column was damaged and its ignition popped off during an attempt to steal the car in the 2200 block of 13th Avenue before 11:20 a.m. Jan. 28. Damage is estimated at $500.

Two vehicles in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue were entered before 11:40 a.m. Jan. 28. Losing lottery tickets and about $5 in change were stolen. It appears an attempt was made to steal one truck, because the ignition was tampered with.

Six pieces of jewelry were taken from a home in the 500 block of Michigan Avenue in the three weeks before Feb. 5. Loss is estimated at $1,900.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 26-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving at Sixth and Marquette avenues about 2 a.m. Jan. 27. His blood alcohol content is 0.15.

A 55-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 2300 block of 10th Avenue at 6:23 p.m. Feb. 2.

A 25-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 600 block of Marquette Avenue at 1:32 a.m. Feb. 6.

A 36-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving at 10th and Minnesota avenues about 2:15 a.m. Feb. 7.

VANDALISM

A vehicle's window was broken by a marble shot from a sling shot in the 900 block of Marquette Avenue before 2:26 p.m. Jan. 25. Damage is estimated at $250.

A vehicle's window was broken by a BB or pellet in the 400 block of Marquette Avenue before 1:30 p.m. Jan. 27. Damage is estimated at $400.

A vehicle's window was smashed in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue before 2:15 p.m. Feb. 3. Damage is estimated at $150.

A vulgar phrase was scratched into a home's aluminum siding in the 300 block of Montana Avenue about 3 p.m. Feb. 7. No damage estimate was available.

OTHER

A woman was flashed by a stranger in the 200 block of Lake Drive about 4 p.m. Jan. 25.

A citation for a noise violation was mailed to the owner of a home in the 600 block of Milwaukee Avenue after a loud party was reported at 1:12 a.m. Feb. 3. When officers arrived at the house, it was indeed noisy, but no one would answer the door.

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for driving under the influence of marijuana after he was pulled over for a traffic sign violation at 10th and Marquette avenues about 11:05 p.m. Feb. 3. The man told officers he had smoked pot.

A 21-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for disorderly conduct after several students said he approached them, swearing and yelling at them and claiming to have a gun, at 15th and Rawson avenues about 10:30 a.m. Feb. 6.
