Cudahy

BURGLARY

Numerous tools valued at $550 were taken from a garage in the 2900 block of East Holmes Avenue before 9:40 a.m. March 17. Entry was forced.

THEFT

Numerous items valued at $315 were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 6000 block of South Packard Avenue between 11 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. March 14. Items included a stereo system, gym bag, Jimmy Hendrix DVD, CDs, clothing, cell phone charger, beverages and a window scraper.

Four rims and tires valued at $592 were taken from a vehicle in the 3800 block of East Edgerton Avenue before 7:25 a.m. March 18.

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking darts and pepper spray valued at $21 from Dunham's Sporting Goods, 5656 S. Packard Ave., at 3:48 p.m. March 19.

A 28-year-old Racine man was arrested for taking a Green Bay Packers hat and Frisbee valued at $36 from Dunham's Sporting Goods at 2:38 p.m. March 20.

A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for taking two CDs valued at $34 from Kmart, 6077 S. Packard Ave., at 3:44 p.m. March 20.

A bike and padlock valued at $1,005 were taken in the 5200 block of South Packard Avenue between 10 p.m. March 21 and 9 a.m. March 22.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 26-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for possession of 2.7 grams of marijuana in the 2400 block of East Layton Avenue at 6:42 p.m. March 19.

A 34-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of a used needle containing heroin in the 5600 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue at 6:30 p.m. March 23. The man was initially stopped because he had a suspended license. He was cited for that offense.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 27-year-old Cambridge, Wis., man was arrested for drunken driving in the 3600 block of Layton Avenue at 11:23 p.m. March 21. His blood alcohol content was 0.12.

VANDALISM

Expletive graffiti containing a phone number was written in spray paint on a garage door in the 3700 block of East Squire venue before 2:58 p.m. March 15. Damage is estimated at $50.

A window was smashed on a vehicle near Swift and Underwood avenues before 3:34 a.m. March 16. Damage is estimated at $500.

Glass was broken on a front door window at Nativity of the Lord Church, 3775 E. Underwood Ave., between 2 p.m. March 16 and 7:30 a.m. March 19.

A 14-year-old Cudahy boy was arrested for damaging a We Energies utility box in the 4400 block of South Packard Avenue at 4:46 p.m. March 20. The boy kicked in the utility box, causing $500 damage.

OTHER

A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 5900 block of South Lake Drive at 6:30 a.m. March 11. The man was causing a disturbance in the area by being loud and boisterous. He also swore at officers as they attempted to speak with him.

A 25-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on a warrant with the Greenfield Police Department in the 3600 block of East Layton Avenue at 3:30 p.m. March 21.

Cudahy police made four arrests related to domestic incidents last week.

St. Francis

THEFT

A laptop computer was reported stolen from a home in the 4100 block of South Clement Avenue about 2 p.m. March 12. The victim suspects an acquaintance took the computer.

A 37-year-old St. Francis woman was cited for retail theft for taking a four-pack of Milwaukee's Best beer from Pick 'n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., at 6:45 p.m. March 15.

A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle in the 4500 block of South Whitnall Avenue between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. March 8.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man and an 18-year-old Hales Corners man were arrested for possession of a controlled substance after police found about 26 grams of marijuana in their possession during a traffic stop in the 2400 block of East Bolivar Avenue about 9:05 p.m. March 10.

OTHER

A Cudahy man reported that one of two teens biking by flashed a knife at him, and that he had followed the boys to Lincoln School, where they met up with four others and then went to Milton Vretenar Park, 4230 S. Kirkwood Ave., in St. Francis. Officers met up with the boys there, and when asked who had the knife, two of the boys pulled folding knives from their pockets. Officers searched all the boys and found they all had lighters, one had Cigarillos and one more boy had a knife. Citations were as follows: a 13-year-old Cudahy boy was cited for carrying a concealed weapon and possession of an ignition device; another 13-year-old Cudahy boy was cited for possession of an ignition device; a 14-year-old Cudahy boy was cited for carrying a concealed weapon and possession of an ignition device; a 15-year-old Cudahy boy was cited for possession of tobacco, possession of an ignition device and carrying a concealed weapon; a 14-year-old Cudahy boy was cite for possession of an ignition device; and a 13-year-old Cudahy boy was cited for possession of an ignition device. As officers questioned the boys, they found a bag of marijuana on the ground, but none of the boys claimed it.

South Milwaukee

BURGLARY

Cash was reported stolen from a home in the 1300 block of Rawson Avenue about 10:10 p.m. March 22.

THEFT

A bicycle was stolen from a residence in the 2800 block of Sixth Avenue between 7 p.m. March 15 and 5 p.m. March 16.

A camera, several cell phones and iPods, a videogame system and cash were reported stolen from a dressing room at South Milwaukee High School, 901 15th Ave., about 10:30 a.m. March 17.

A license plate registration sticker was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Milwaukee Avenue about 7:20 p.m. March 22.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A man was arrested for drunken driving after he stuck a light pole in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue about 1:10 a.m. March 16.

A 29-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving near 13th and Milwaukee avenues about 8:45 p.m. March 17.

A 41-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving near Fifth and Marshall avenues about 10:45 p.m. March 17.

VANDALISM

A vehicle's rear windshield was reported smashed near Ninth and Lakeview avenues about 5:50 a.m. March 16.

A vehicle's window was reported smashed in the 2100 block of Sixth Avenue about 8:45 a.m. March 16.

A garage was egged in the 800 block of Manitoba Avenue between 10:30 p.m. March 16 and 6 a.m. March 17.

OTHER

Two 18-year-old Milwaukee women were cited for underage drinking after police responded to a noise complaint near 14th and Manitoba avenues about 12:30 a.m. March 17.

Police broke up an underage drinking party in the 2500 block of Lakeshore Boulevard about 9:30 p.m. March 17. Several citations were issued.

Three teenagers were cited for underage drinking near the beach at Grant Park, 3303 Marina Road, about 12:05 a.m. March 18.

Someone apparently tried to start a garage in the 1400 block of Michigan Avenue on fire between 10:30 p.m. March 19 and 7:45 a.m. March 20.
