The students who participated in the Playpals program at Kosciuszko School were taken to a Bucks game as a reward for their hard work all year. Playpals are students who used their leadership skills to lead games, model good sportsmanship, and demonstrate sound problem-solving skills on the playground.
At Kosciuszko school, a new extra-curricular group called Playpals has been created to improve the quality of games on the playground.
For this group, responsible students exhibiting certain leadership skills were selected by teachers to participate in the program. During the month of September, the Playpal advisors and Mr. Katte will train the students and work to develop their skills so that they can lead games, model good sportsmanship, and demonstrate sound problem-solving skills on the playground.
Hopefully, the Playpals will be ready, trained, and out on the playground in early October.
