Join the celebration! On Sunday, July 18th the beautiful Grant Park, 100 E. Hawthorne Ave., will be celebrating 100 years as a spendid recreational destination in the 2009 National Gold Medal Winning Milwaukee County Parks System. Located in South Milwaukee and bordered by the sparkling waters of Lake Michigan, this century celebration starts at 7am and runs until 7pm. It is free and open to the public and everyone is invited and welcome to attend. The day is packed full of exciting events and activities for all ages. A "Passport to Fun" will be offered at multiple locations throughout the park. The passport can be stamped at each location and entered in a drawing for prizes.
