At McCurdy Field in Sheridan Park - Packers Baseball Camp
Boys & Girls Ages 5-15
This camp is for those players desiring to improve their baseball skills and knowledge. Focus is on fundamental techniques, with an introduction to drills used at higher levels of the game.
Throughout the sessions, players will have a chance to demonstrate what they’ve learned through various competitions. In case of inclement weather, this activity will be moved indoors to the Cudahy High School Fieldhouse Gym, 4950 S Lake Dr.
Anticipated Sessions
- stretching / agility drills / warm-up
- proper throwing techniques / throwing competition / bunting techniques / bunting stations
- timed running competitions and simulated games
- defense: focus on proper ground ball and fly ball mechanics
- pitching and catching fundamentals (bullpen drills)
- offense: focus on fundamental hitting drills (cage drills)
