2010 Valedictorian and Salutatorian
Cudahy High School is proud to announce the valedictorian and salutatorian for the 2010 graduating class:
Kosciuszko Students Compete in Multiplication Tournament
On March 24, Kosciuszko school's third grade students competed in their yearly multiplication tournament. After practicing their multiplication facts for months, the students competed against each other to determine the fastest multiplier.
During the day, 45 students were narrowed down to the Sweet Sixteen, the Elite Eight, and finally down to the last two students. In the end, Camryn Kratt defeated Javier Zamarron to become the first place winner in the annual tournament. After the event, all of the students were treated to an ice cream buffet.

Cudahy High School Forensics Team Qualifies for State CompetitionAfter a very successful competition at district level, the Cudahy High School Forensics team is moving on to the state level competition. On Saturday, April 17, nine of the twelve Forensics students will be representing Cudahy High School at the state tournament in Madison. The 2010 Cudahy High School Forensics Team are: March Renaissance Students of the Month WinnersEvery month, the Renaissance Program at the Cudahy High School recognizes one student from each grade as the student of the month. The March Renaissance Students of the Month winners are: Senior: Joseph Jagler Lincoln PTA's Wine Tasting Event at City LoungeCome to the Lincoln PTA's adult-only wine tasting event at City Lounge on April 16. Sample various red and white wines (along with appetizers). Have a fun night out and support Lincoln School at the same time! This event is a school fundraiser sponsored by the Lincoln PTA. General Mitchell Students Learn About Geometry with Mobile Learning Devices
The sixth graders at General Mitchell School are currently using Mobile Learning Devices in their school day. The students find examples of various angles (such as obtuse, right, straight, and supplementary) in real life settings and take pictures of the angles. Cudahy Band Boosters Stand-up Comedy Show on May 1The Cudahy Band Boosters are proud to announce a new fundraising event. On Saturday, May 1st, the First Annual Stand-up Comedy Show will be held at the St. Francis Community Center located on 3476 E. Howard Ave., St. Francis. Get in the Game and Donate Your Used Sporting Goods to Kosciuszko ElementarySpring is a great time to pull out those old baseball gloves, golf clubs and rarely-used treadmills from your garage and basement. When you do, think about donating them to a good cause! Play It Again Sports and Dunham’s Sports are teaming up with the Kosciuszko Elementary Student Council for a sporting equipment drive. If you make a donation you will receive a Dunham's 20% off coupon that can be used April 23-25 and/or April 30-May 2. Also, you will be entered to win a $25 Dunham's gift certificate and other prizes. Cudahy High School WIAA Scholar Athletes NamedTwo graduating seniors have been named Cudahy High School’s 2010 WIAA Scholar Athletes. Amy Weber and Taylor Hennlich will receive medals from the WIAA at the school’s awards ceremony on June 2, 2010. Each year, member high schools of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association are invited to nominate one boy and one girl for Scholar Athlete honors. The program, which is underwritten by Marshfield Clinic, was launched in 1984 to demonstrate the positive impact of interscholastic athletic activities. Noodles and Oodles of Fun - Spaghetti Dinner and Fundraiser at Park View - April 29Lincoln Students Attend Camp MacLeanThe 6th grade students at Lincoln school recently went on an outdoor education trip to Camp MacLean. Some of the activities of this trip were: team adventure course, Dutch oven cooking, archery, balloon physics, night hike, fishing, boating, and Lacrosse. The students had a wonderful time!
Cudahy Students to Perform at WSMA State Solo and Ensemble Festival at UW-ParksideOn Saturday, May 1, music students from Cudahy High School will attend the WSMA State Solo and Ensemble Festival at UW-Parkside. This festival not only provides the opportunity for students to perform music independently but it also gives recognition to the outstanding soloists throughout the state.
