General Mitchell Students Learn About Geometry with Mobile Learning Devices

General Mitchell

The sixth graders at General Mitchell School are currently using Mobile Learning Devices in their school day. The students find examples of various angles (such as obtuse, right, straight, and supplementary) in real life settings and take pictures of the angles.

After the pictures are taken, the students import the pictures into an application on the Mobile Learning Device.  Then they provide a definition and a drawing on top of the photo illustrating the correct angle measurement.

The students will continue to use their Mobile Learning Devices through the school year as they learn more geometric terms.
