Tiny Tigers (Ages 5-7)
This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline. Self-control and self-esteem are emphasized to help the students to develop a healthy view of themselves. In addition, the program is designed to improve children’s motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions.
All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for this age group. The testing process is slightly different from the youth and adult programs, as these students move at “half-steps”.
There is a $25 fee collected by the instructor upon promotion in belt ranking. The classes are shorter to allow for more information retention, but are just as much fun and exciting as the youth and adult programs.

Students will learn discipline and respect, team building, Korean terminology, vital self-defense techniques and Songham style taekwondo, to be used only if necessary, with the understanding that the best way to avoid confrontation is not to be there.
Students will be promoted in rank upon testing successfully in front of the instructor at the end of the session.
There is a $50 fee collected by the instructor upon promotion in belt ranking. There are nine colored belts indicating the level of achievement: (lowest to highest) white, orange, yellow, camouflage, green, purple, blue, brown, red, black.
