On Thursday May 28th the Kosciuszko Student Council, PTA, and Inspire Salon are all teaming up together for Locks of Love. This event will be held in the Kosciuszko Elementary School gym, 5252 S. Kirkwood Ave., from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Donated hair must be at least 6 inches or longer, any chemically treated hair is acceptable. Anyone can donate hair - moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends! Children must be accompanied by an adult or bring a permission slip. Permissions slips can be filled out the night of the event. Bob cuts only (one length), will be given after
the donation of hair.
Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hair to financially disadvantaged children under the age of 18, who have lost their hair to a medical condition. To find out more about this organization, visit their web site at www.locksoflove.org. So lets unite as a community and cut our hair, to donate to children in need!
