2010-2011 Kindergarten Registration Dates to Remember
Mark your calendars parents – registration for 2010-2011 kindergarten is fast approaching.
“Band-o-Rama” Monday at Cudahy High School
Enjoy an evening of music by children of all ages at the district-wide “Band-o-Rama” on Monday, December 7th. The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Cudahy High School auditorium. The Band-o-Rama will feature 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade bands as well as the high school band and jazz ensemble. It is free and open to the public.
A free reception sponsored by the Band Boosters will follow the concert in the high school cafeteria.
Pencils Ready, Academic Decathlon Team Advances to Regionals
Good luck to the Cudahy High School Academic Decathlon team!
The team, which qualified for the second round of regional competition, will be taking part in the essay portion of the contest on Wednesday, December 9 at Cudahy High School. The remainder of the competition will be held January 8, 2010 at GE Healthcare.
Future Leaders Shine at Marquette Business Competition
Some business leaders of tomorrow got real-word practice at Marquette University earlier this month. Five juniors from Cudahy High School participated in Marquette’s annual Business Case Competition on Saturday, December 5.
The team, made up of Adam Dema, Jennifer Fakler, Raisa Kote, Maricruz Sanchez and Ryan Scheel, was given a business case and then had 45 minutes to make recommendations and put together a presentation before a panel of local business professionals. The team was judged on creativity, analysis and presentation.
