Cudahy Varsity Cheerleaders Attend UCA Summer Camp
From July 27 to July 30, the Cudahy Varsity Cheerleaders attended a UCA Summer Camp at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. There were 14 teams and over 300 girls. The girls had a great week of team bonding and fun.
Beginner Basketball - Ages 4 - 8

Deadline to Register - September 16
Try the exciting sport of basketball! Join the Cudahy High School Varsity Basketball coaches, as they teach you the fundamentals of basketball, such as how to dribble, pass, catch, and shoot. Learn the game while having fun and making friends!
Bowling Camp - K-5 through Grade 8

Ages K-5—gr. 8
Come learn the popular and fun sport of bowling and improve your game! AMF South Park Lanes teaches youth a game they can enjoy for life! Everyone will be coached on the lanes, while bowling 2 games, having fun and making new friends!
Beginner
A coach will teach you, on the lanes, how to choose the correct ball, grip, the proper starting position, set up and beginning the approach, how to swing the ball and the proper release.
Intermediate
For those who have attended the previous camp, we will continue to work on improving your skills! First, by reviewing your beginners techniques, then by adding the 4-step approach, spare shooting and scoring

Coed Soccer for 1st-3rd Graders

This is an excellent program introducing youth to the game of soccer. YMCA Staff will lead practice sessions designed to help youth develop dribbling, passing and scoring skills through modified game activities. We emphasize respect, team work and the rules of the game, with the main emphasis on having fun. Due to inclement weather, practices or games may be cancelled. Participants will practice once a week at their respective schools, and games will be played on
Saturday mornings at the South Shore YMCA.
Cost $30, includes a shirt and award.
Girls Basketball - Head Start Leagues (Grades 3-4 and Grades 5-6)

Deadline to Register - September 9
Challenger Basketball - Coed ages 5 -18

This camp is designed to assist individuals who are physically and cognitively challenged, to play basketball, regardless of limitations. Activities will be geared toward the camper’s abilities, in a fun and inviting atmosphere. Campers will use the buddy system—a parent, sibling or friend.
