Kids Vote

Park View

On November 3 at Park View school, Mrs. Tschudy's 4th grade class hosted an all-school election for students and staff. The students greeted voters at the registration table.  Other students handed out ballots.  Voters filled out their ballots, put them in the ballot box, and received an "I Voted" sticker.  Students from Mrs. Tschudy's class were responsible for tallying all the votes.  By the end of the day, 283 people had voted in the school election.  The final school count was John McCain 98, Barack Obama 185.

This was a great learning experience for all the students involved.
