Cudahy Middle School Teacher Awarded Earthwatch Live From the Field Fellowship

Kurt Wojciechowski from the Cudahy Middle School has recently been awarded the Earthwatch Live From the Field Fellowship.

Wojciechowski will spend 11 days in the Canadian Arctic this fall working with scientists. This expedition focuses on monitoring the vast stores of greenhouse gasses in the Arctic and their impact on climate change. Wojciechowski will share experiences with his students using live video or phone conferences, journal entries, photos, as well as lessons and suggested activities online.

Earthwatch Institute is the world's largest environmental volunteer nonprofit organization. The mission of Earthwatch is to engage people worldwide in scientific field research and education to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment. Earthwatch provides this wonderful and unique opportunity for our educators to work alongside leading field researchers around the world.
