Laissez les bon temps rouler! (Let the good times roll) is what they say in New Orleans.
Over spring break the Cudahy High School Concert Choir and Chaperones went on a trip to New Orleans, LA and did indeed let the good times roll. Performance highlights included a performance at Jackson Square in the Dukes of Dixieland”. Other touring highlights include Mardis Gras World, an above ground cemetery tour, a walking tour of the French quarter, the Audubon Aquarium, a swamp tour on the bayou, and eating plenty of the Cajun and Creole cuisine that New Orleans is famous for. While in the city the students also were able to experience many live performances by Jazz musicians because “, Patriotic music at the National D-Day museum, and Steamboat cruise with an impromptu performance with the “Jazz Fest” was going on at the time. The students represented the high school and the city very well and they were extremely well behaved and polite to everyone they met. The trip was a huge success! Thank you to all of the parents and chaperones who made this all possible.
