Cudahy High School Student To Attend Prestigious Marquette University Program

Cudahy High School

Cudahy High student Rebecca Fansler recently found out she, again, was chosen to participate in a prestigious summer program in our area. Here is some information on her accomplishments: Becky was chosen again this year out of a national pool of applicants to participate in the SSEP III HCOP program at Marquette University over the summer (Summer Science Enrichment Program, Health Careers Opportunity Program).

The university choose just 24 students for each level. She will live on campus at Marquette for six weeks this summer and take classes. This program is all federally funded; her tuition, books, room, meals, and uniforms are paid for, and she will receive a weekly stipend. Last year she was even chosen as a speaker for the closing ceremony at the end of July. Her eventual career goal is to be an Interventional Radiologist.

Congratulations Becky!
