Cudahy High School Going Green
On Wednesday, September 29, the installation of 36 4’ x 12’ Helioco Solar Ray solar panels began on the southeast corner of campus at Cudahy High School. These panels will be used to primarily heat the water in our pool. In cooperation with WE Energies and the Wisconsin Focus on Energy Program, 70% of the cost of this project will be covered by grant opportunities. To give people a different perspective on the energy savings and environmental conservation, doing this will effectively take 15 cars’ emissions off of our roads/highways each year.
