Taekwondo - Tiny Tigers

Cudahy Recreation Department

Tiny Tigers  (Ages 5-7)

This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline. Self-control and self-esteem are emphasized to help the students to develop a healthy view of themselves.  In addition, the program is designed to improve children’s motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions.

All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for this age group. The testing process is slightly different from the youth and adult programs, as these students move at “half-steps”.

There is a $25 fee collected by the instructor upon promotion in belt ranking. The classes are shorter to allow for more information retention, but are just as much fun and exciting as the youth and adult programs.
