I-94 North - South Full Closure for Box Culvert Construction
As part of the I-94 North / South project the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reconstructing the Rawson Avenue Interchange. The construction of a major drainage structure across all lanes of I-94 on the north side of the interchange requires a full closure of I-94 Northbound and Southbound from 27th Street to College Avenue beginning on Friday, May 17th at 9pm and concluding on Sunday, May 19th at 9am.

Updated - The closure to be extended thru 6-26-13 to help with the I-43 project.
3 Non-Binding Referendums I Would Like to See
Given we live in Milwaukee County and part of our taxes goes to the County, for the April 2nd non-partisan elections I would like to see the follow 2 non-binding referendums added to the ballot:
Cudahy Might Lose Aldi's?
Well I keep hearing from people around Cudahy that Aldi’s is looking at leaving and moving to… yep, you guessed it, South Milwaukee. Oh yeah not far from the Wal-Mart and to an area with more traffic.

Randy: I did contact our DPW: Here is what I've been told: DOT requires that the county plan two alternatives for new roadways: 1 with a signal and 2 with roundabout. (the signal alternative is the traditional intersection). DOT also requires engineering studies and anticipated traffic counts.
