Run/Walk for Project Concern May 21st

A group of Environmental Science students from Cudahy High School is planning a 5k Run/Walk to benefit Project Concern. This group includes Matt Gostomski who is an Eagle Scout from Troop 252 who built the kiosk in Sheridan Park. I met Matt when he was working toward his Eagle rank and later at a cross-country meet at Sheridan Park.

The run/walk is being held on Saturday, May 21st at Sheridan Park. Registration starting at 7 am, run/walk starting at 9 am.

I am definitely running this race. This is a great way to stay in shape and also benefit the community. Why not mark your calendar now?

The cost is $15 or $10 if you register by May 7th. (Make checks payable to Cudahy High School.)

Here is a link to the registration form: http://www.cudahy.k12.wi.us/chs/Binder1.pdf

If any questions contact Matt Gostomski at (414) 339-5457.

As I have said earlier, asking public-sector employees to shoulder a greater portion of their pension and health care costs is a reasonable request. Taking away their right to collective bargaining is not.
