What an amazing week this has been! The demonstrations in Madison to protest Governor Scott Walker's budget proposals have surprised everyone. What a historic time! 2011 Miller Lite Ride May Cross Hoan Bridge

Indoor Running Season Off to a Start

Thursday, Oct. 21st was my first indoor run at the Pettit National Ice Center for the winter season. (Yes, I know it's not winter yet .) This is a 443 meter track that surrounds the two hockey rinks and the speed-skating rink. This is a great way to keep running during our long winter if you don't like running outside in cold weather and you get tired of always being on the treadmill. The Pettit is a great resource that many people in the metro area are not aware of. For more info on the Pettit go to: .
