Running Club to Host Half-Marathon in County Parks April 10th
The Badgerland Striders Running Club will once again be hosting the annual South Shore Half-Marathon on Saturday, April 10th ! This 13.1-mile race starts at South Shore Park in Bay View. The course follows the Oak Leaf Trail south through Bay View Park, Sheridan Park, Warnimont Park and reaches the half-way point in Grant Park in South Milwaukee. After reaching the half-way point the runners reverse direction and follow the same course back to the starting point at South Shore Park.
Thank god for our wonderful County Parks. It would be virtually impossible to have a race like this without our Parks.
McCue Campaign Rally Saturday April 3rd
William Martin will be hosting a Campaign Rally from 10 am to noon for Mayor Ryan McCue on Saturday, April 3rd. The rally will be held at his business, Jericho Resources Inc. This will be a family-friendly event with coffee and donuts.
Jericho is located at 4715 S. Packard Ave near the corner of Packard and Layton Avenue. There is plenty of parking in the municipal lot directly south of the Jericho building.
Mayor McCue will present his vision for Cudahy's future at 10, 10:45 and 11:30 am. Each presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
