When
Roughly equal numbers of Americans believe it is either wrong or acceptable to have a doctor assist in suicide; to have an abortion; to have a child outside wedlock, and for gay people to form relationships. Just 15 points at most separate the sides.
Large majorities found the death penalty, divorce and gambling morally acceptable, while large majorities found cloning animals, suicide, cloning humans, polygamy and extramarital affairs to be morally wrong.
