The Way I See It!

I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.

Cudahy Citizen Police Academy

Cudahy, Police, Citizen Police Academy

Each year, the Cudahy Police Department holds a Citizen Police Academy that meets once a week for approximately 7-8 weeks.  14 to 15 citizens will be in the program.

Citizens involved in this program are given a unique opportunity to tour the Police Department.  Each week of the program covers a different topic relative to the Cudahy Police Department and training of police officers.  It does not certify citizens as police officers.  The academy gives the community an insight into typical police officer training and work.

Typically the citizens will learn about basic police procedures, ride along with officers, firearms training, evidence collection and a unique opportunity to see first hand what our Cudahy Police Department does.  This can help develop good improvements with understand and relating for all involved.

I will be one of the Cudahy citizens participating in this program.  I will have a weekly blog post about what was covered in the session.
