State Senate to Hold Public Hearing on Sex Offender Residency Bill

Wisconsin, Safety, Sex Offender

From State Senator Mary Lazich

March 18, 2010

The state Senate Judiciary Committee scheduled a public hearing on Senate Bill 548 that would nullify local sex offender ordinances restricting the residences and whereabouts of released sex offenders.

The hearing takes place
Tuesday March 23, 201010:05 AM, Room 411 South, State Capitol at Madison.  I urge all concerned citizens to attend the hearing or contact committee members to express opposition to the repeal of these important local ordinances.

Other things happening Tuesday March 23, 2010 Cudahy Mayoral Debate Forum at the Kelly Senior Center @1:00 pm.
