Randy:

As a federal taxpayer, would you be offended if a political candidate for Mayor was stumping for signatures on his nomination papers in front of the Cudahy post office, on federal property?

--------------------------

We go to the Cudahy post office on Saturday, and see McCue getting signatures...what the heck.  Of course he is taking the easy way, by not actually walking from house to house...how lazy can he be.  And he wants to be Mayor, when he just stands at the post office.

-------------------------

I knew McCue was lazy, but to stand dressed up at the Cudahy Post Office and have the signatures and meet and greet takes the cake.  He is also talking about how good the Chicago Bears are, you know that is his team right?

I don’t know if it is against the law or election ethics to campaign on federal property, but I do think it is not the most appropriate thing to do.  I did see McCue at the post office as I drove by to take my daughter to see Santa at the depot.  I would have thought McCue could have done the same thing at the train depot and had it look better, but then again this is McCue we are taking about.

---------------------------

A question from your readers.  Has the City of Cudahy signed off on the Squire Ave. project?  Mayor McCue doesn’t know.

That doesn’t surprise me that people including McCue don’t know what is going on with city affairs.  When you don’t take an active role in leadership and do the minimum (remember average is not only half way to the top, but half way to the bottom) things easily slip through the cracks.

---------------------------

Did you see McCue is taking credit for the K9 unit?

Yes, I saw that.  It did happen during his term.  Remember, if you take credit for the good things, you have to take credit for the bad ones, they happen during your term as well.  I also saw his website was listed  http://www.ryanmccue.com/, but Go Daddy states it is parked, but a check on Thursday shows it is up.

--------------------------------------

Randy,

Have you taken a drive down the newly opened S.KK Ave. between Plankinton and Layton???

The road itself is nice but try to turn east onto Layton Ave from KK.  I give it 1 week before there is a serious accident.  You cant see traffic on Layton because of the parked cars.  The city needs to seriously make a decision about parking restrictions on the north side of Layton Ave between Kingan Ave and KK.  Who approved this??

And now that KK is a 1-way in that little stretch, traffic is crazy at Layton and Kingan with cars turning onto Kingan from E/B LAyton Ave.  Go take a drive any day of the week starting after 4:30 and you'll see what I mean.

I cant believe our city officials cant see the problems with this and simply create a few parking restrictions, but yet they have 2 hour parking all around Ladish Co. that now has 25 employees.

I have driven down by it now and alerted the police to watch, thanks for the information and safety should always be on everyone’s mind.

----------------------------------------

…The survey Cudahy paid someone to take on what Cudahy needs.  They made it sound like we need a big box store like Wal-Mart or Target.  And the Mayor made it sound like he agrees, give the people what they need.  Didn't he just vote down Wal-Mart last year?  Idiot!...

Yes, the retail market analyst tells us that the best use of the Ice port is big box retailing and we need more fast food and sit down restaurants.  Stuff that is common sense to many, just not Mayor McCue and his staff plus a few common council members.  They look foolish now, but hey Wal-Mart will look at the spot after the Mayor’s race and I think it will still happen unless the Shopco gets the common council scared and forces them to put in a clause.  We still need Wal-Mart and they still want us and Mayor McCue will soon be looking from the outside.  I would say he moves back to the Chicago area after losing the election or he waits to see what happens with the City of Milwaukee Mayor and County Supervisors race once the governor’s race is done.  Cudahy is just a resume line for McCue and you have to ask yourself how seriously of a job he really wants to do if his heart and aspirations are not with Cudahy, but elsewhere!

Subject: WE Energies low income assistance fund rate increase

I really hope you will be helping pull the sheet off this latest 0.47 cent rate increase that is being redirected to the state to pay for DA salaries.  I called Plale's Milwaukee and Madison office and they actually admitted it was a bad idea when it was passed back in June.

Subject: Cadillac Tax

Randy,

I commented a while ago about the health care plan having an excise tax on premium plans.  I described the union health care plans as falling into this percentile.  The following column reports on this as well.

http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/12/17/cadillac-tax-in-health-plan-would-hit-middle-class-hard/

So to all those union workers and their Cadillac plans ... Welcome to reality and enjoy how the rest of us have to figure out health care.  By the way, don’t think the union bosses will pay their taxes out of their own pockets... expect your dues to go up.  How’s hope and change?

Off the topic, and on to people of Wal-Mart ... I just figured out why some people in Cudahy don’t want a Wal-Mart, check out this article http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/6715/79524918kn.jpg

They don’t want to get dressed up.

Thanks again for all you do.
