I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.
At least that is what this email I received from someone tells me.
Here it is (spelling and grammar errors and all):
It is rather obvious at your intentions, are to run for
So that is what a confused misguided reader thinks.
Does the job and work of the Mayor interest me? Yes! I have not hid that whatsoever!
Will I be running in 2010?
NO!
Will I support someone else other than McCue?
You betcha!
Might I run for Mayor in 2013? Maybe!
I would like to see as someone already pointed out a fiscally conservative person to run for Mayor in
I have already outlined what the next Mayor of Cudahy needs to be like.
The Obama reference and
I don’t work by intimidation; that is someone else. I am a straight shooter who puts his cards on the table. You know where I stand on issues and I stand by my convections.
Court the title of Mayor. That is one of our biggest problems in
The city is always looking for the next big thing, the silver bullet that’s going to turn things around and that isn’t going to happen.
The KRM train is not going to restore
For our part, we have had to accept that the city has limited resources and that we have to work together to change things ourselves.
Cudahy One is right when they said, “Don't waste your vote next election, vote for 1 of the 2 people running that WILL improve this city, not send it backwards!”
When you govern by fear, you lose all respect of and from those you govern!
We need some that just doesn’t want to play Mayor and pickup their paycheck, but someone that does the work and does just outsource it.
We need to elect politicians that are common sense minded with forward thinking and an eye on the practical, low-cost ideas for revitalization.
We need the right size government we can afford on a budget!
How about low income government for a change!
One of the jobs of our elected officials is to field calls and emails from the constituents regarding many issues.

Nice to see that this major backer of McCue cannot spell! Must be another journalism major. I am glad people can see right THUR you! Since you are a conservative, you must be like he says from the rich CALSS! Calsss, I didn't know your feet hurt? Hope your health gets better.
This e-mail is a bunch of nonsense. But, it is great you publish things like this, to show the backing that McCue has. The trains are coming ! The trains are coming! Huh?!?! This well educated writer apparently has not seen that their is not even any money for the engineering study, let alone the cho cho!
This writer talks about the people that Mccue has brought in.. however, not a single department manager he has hired during his term, LIVES IN CUDAHY!!! Apparently, our taxes are good enough every two weeks to pay their salaries, however, this town is NOT good enough to live in. That, is the standard that Mayor McCue has created!
My comment you mentioned needs to be corrected, now it appears we have THREE alternatives, not two. Your quote of me was correct, however, it appears that another player has entered the race! Good luck to all three of them, and we hope and pray that one of them, becomes the next Mayor of Cudahy to lead us out of the mess created by Mayor McCue.

Zach, no the policy was opened long ago, just McCue has blown it wide open under the veil that to find the best person we need to cast the widest net. He doesn’t think the best come from within idea. While there is, something to be said for both ideas and ideals, if the policies affect someone directly, attention to detail will play a bigger part!
When you pull money out of your own pocket, then you are highly motivated to find inexpensive ways of doing successful things.
It is easy to play with someone else’s money.
I never believe any efficiency savings in bureaucracy - because these have to be enacted by the very civil servants who don't want them!

If you look at the ordinances, the building inspector, currently Butch, is required by ordinance and municipal code, to be a cudahy resident. That is why you have a hodge podge, and this could have been a requirement at the time of hire.
The police and fire chiefs have always had residency requirement, until now! Even when Mayor Glowacki hired Police Chief Tellock, he kept his home in Green Bay, but bought a condo in Cudahy and stayed there during the week. In the event of a weekend emergency, Tellock was here in a heart beat. Most, if not all communitiies in Milwaukee County have a residency requirement for the chiefs of police and fire. The only exeption I know of is South Milwaukee and Chief Ann, because her husband is the head of the Federal Hidta drug task force and has to live in the city of Milwaukee. Because of this requirement, the SM council made an exeption to their residency rule.
So to answer your question, yes, he changed the rules for Pd and FD, and has stretched it for all others.

Or maybe if you build a train, people will go the end of the line?
I thought the whole purpose of the train for Cudahy was to try to attract commuters to live here, not tourism.
I would really like to know a tourist attraction here in Cudahy to visit, so please detail. And no the former Iceport does not count.
Randy Hollenbeck - Nov 30, 2009 11:28 AM
The vacation thing is a farce. Mayor McCue wants to increase tourism in Cudahy and that alone would be a good thing expect it is all wrapped in the need for the KRM. At one point Mayor McCue, make a remark that the KRM would increase tourism. The facts don’t support that.
We do have a hotel – The Sheridan’s. Why don’t we have hotel chains? Back side of the airport, not large retail, or food area to help draw to Cudahy. It takes Cudahy soooooo long to get something hammered out. Not a priority! Many different reasons.
