The Way I See It!

I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.

Cheap Family Ideas

Guest Blog, Fun, Info, Sports

Randy,

I was hoping maybe you could post this for me?

Anyways, I know you like post activities on your blog that are both family friendly and cost friendly.  I thought I would pass on something that I have not seen posted on your www.cudahynow.com blog yet.

Since 1970, the Milwaukee Admirals have been a staple to hockey fans in Southeast Wisconsin.  Approximately two years ago, my family and I finally went to our first game and have been hooked since.  Prior to going nobody in our family were fans of hockey, but since then, the four of us (myself, my wife, and our two sons) have become addicted!  The Milwaukee Admirals play their games at the Bradley Center and ticket prices range from $16-$21 which includes the $1 Bradley Center fee.  We normally get the $16.00 tickets and usually our seats are within the first 8 rows of the ice, always close enough to see that game winning goal, or to see the players drop the gloves for the fan favorite hockey fights!

Last season the Admirals finished the season tied for first place in the entire 30+ team American Hockey League (AHL), but lost in 7 games to the Houston Aeros in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Check the website at www.milwaukeeadmirals.com, they have ticket promotions and/or game day giveaways at nearly every home game.  Families at certain Sunday home games can get 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, and 4 sodas for only $40.00.  That's almost how much it costs for only one of us at a Brewers game!!!  Not to mention last season they were voted as having the best fan experience out of all teams in the AHL!

I hope I am able to get some of you to check it out, it's great for everyone, plenty of action to satisfy the young to older adults, and the kids all seem to love Roscoe the team's mascot who is always entertaining the crowd!

This Wednesday, 10/28/09 the team is hosting a special.  All kids 14 and under can get a ticket to the game for only $1.00, and on Friday, 11/06/09 all military veterans get one free ticket if they show their military ID!

Thanks for help!
