The Way I See It!

I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.

Cudahy, Development, Email, Mayor

My comments are in blue.

I would like to bring this to your attention Randy.  While the Mayor gave you a line of BS about emailing, as you pointed out he included it in the newsletter, it looks like the Mayor tweets.

http://twitter.com/rmccue

You can join his twitter account followers!  No time to comment on a blog or post information that the residents of Cudahy need, but he can sure tweet for the election time.  Unless his intern is doing the tweets for him.  More TIF money I guess!

Not sure if the twitter account truly is Mayor McCue’s.  He can answer it here if he likes.  We all know he reads my blog.  I see they have his picture, but it could be his sister Erin McCue from Chicago, IL that did it.  I also see that there is a facebook group of McCue that is not from Mayor Ryan McCue.

Randy did you see the Cudahy Chamber of Commerce has a new designed website.  Looks nice and they even kept the same address. http://www.cudahywichamber.com/

Also, please note that "Generations of Pride" is spelled correct.  They must not have used the same person as the Cudahy newsletter did! Hahaha

It looks nice and is about time.  I see the motto is spelled correctly.  Thanks for letting us know!

Randy rumor floating around is Tony Day’s health is in question as of late.

I heard this same thing.  Even heard that his kidneys are bad, but when I checked into it I was told it was just a rumor.

Randy on the DPW, I can't believe that there is too much noise for Mary Jo at the city hall.  She has a private office in the back for Pete sakes.  Robert Goss’s old office!  What a crappy excuse that is.

No way would I allow that.  Then why not just make Fridays an UNPAID day off for city hall employees.  I am sure they would not like that.

They enjoy coming and going as they please.  I think they should stop her from working at home IMMEDIATLY, that is uncalled for.  Who do some of these people think they are???  Another sad Cudahy story, what else is new

I am sure somewhere at City Hall has a computer and is quite.  Like I said before, I just want the truth set free.  We the people deserve that much!

Randy I can see the Cudahy School Superintend Jim Heiden spinning this.

Free lunches.  Students need more free lunches and free breakfast because the students don’t perform well when hungry.

Horse hockey.  I am sure data can be found that people hungry don’t do as well on test, but most of it falls upon lazy students and teachers having to teach to the test.

Underachievement is not exclusive to any particular socio-economic class.

I believe the Newsweek stats showed the #2 HS in the country had about 50% of kids qualifying for subsidized lunch; the #10 HS had about 100% … an illustration of socio-economically disadvantaged kids achieving like crazy.

Cudahy suffers from high taxes and mismanagement in schools and the rest of government.

I am sure Cudahy’s teachers are just fine, it is the system that is broke!  It is the system that is broke at City Hall.  They worry about flowerpots and then decide the city needs to layoff Police.  The priorities are wrong and backwards.

Cudahy School Superintend Jim Heiden doesn’t live in Cudahy and has no vested interest in the city.  Why?

He was giving the ok to still live in Franklin/Muskego because he didn’t want to uproot his family.  He didn’t want to have his kids go to Cudahy’s schools!  Why?  The excuse was so they didn’t have to start over and get new friends!

Idealists try to see the higher property taxes in Cudahy as a sign of wealth and desirability.

I personally would like most of the City personnel to live not just work in Cudahy!  They may take more pride and care of taxes if they were the ones living and paying.

When I was growing up, my family was poor so we received free school lunches.  Times are hard and somewhere sometime we will reach a tipping point one way or another.

Safest American City is Poor, Unemployed, Rife With Immigrants, Lax Gun Laws

El Paso, Texas.  27% are impoverished, the median household income falls almost $13,000 short of the national average, gun control policies are lax, illegal immigrants are rampant, and is across the river from the extremely violent Ciudad Juarez.

Yet, the city of 736,000 is among the safest, with only 18 murders in 2008.  In fact, the murders of El Pasoans who visit Juarez are nearly keeping pace with back home.  The only city with lower violent crime for most of the last decade is Honolulu.

"If you want to find a safe city, first determine the size of the immigrant population.  If the immigrant community represents a large proportion of the population, you're likely in one of the country's safer cities," said criminologist Jack Levin.
