The Way I See It!

I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.

Pathetic Meeting Attendance

Cudahy, Development, Economy, Mayor, Meeting, Taxes

Cudahy Mayor Ryan McCue held three town hall meetings this month on the City Budget.

The first meeting was Saturday, September 12 at 9:00 a.m. and two people attended!

The next meeting was Monday, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. and four people attended!

The last meeting was Monday, September 21 at 6:00 p.m. and a total of five people, including myself, attended!

That is it, eleven people total showed up for the Mayor’s town hall meetings on the City Budget.  Just imagine how many people could see the budget and have questions to email Mayor McCue if it was online like the City of Brookfield is!

Now you can question how much and where was the meeting posted and announced.

Well we know it was posted by Rachel Mosey on CudahyNow for Mayor McCue and I did blog about it.  Remember questioning the use of a Economic Director Intern who is paid with TIF money posting a meeting announcement for the Mayor.

(Side note – did anyone proofread the Cudahy Fall/Winter Newsletter?  Because I don’t think so!  More on that in other blog)

Was it posted in other places?  I don’t know!

Does it possibly mean that people in Cudahy don’t care about the city budget since there is very little they can do with it?  I don’t know!

If you don’t get involved and speak up do you have the right to complain?  I don’t know?

This makes me think of Mr. Hand on Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Here is the quote:

Mr. Hand: [Mr. Hand goes to blackboard and writes the words 'I Don't Know', then underlines them] [reciting]

Mr. Hand: I like that.  'I Don't Know.’  That's nice.  [Imitating]

Mr. Hand: 'Mr. Hand, will I pass this class?’  Gee, Mr. Spicoli, I don't know!  You know what I'm going to do?  I'm going to leave your words right up here for all my classes to enjoy, giving you full credit of course, Mr. Spicoli

I will look into Googlevideo to post the meeting that I was at for those that read my blog interested.

You can make a difference, but you have to first get involved!

Get involved and be involved!
