We’ve heard the mantra continuously from lefty groups like The League of Women Voters and the NAACP and the ACLU and liberal editorial boards and pundits.
Voter ID laws will DISENFRANCHISE voters, especially minorities.

Won’t have access to the polls.
Won’t vote.
No way.
No how.
By the hundreds of thousands, even millions!
Of course, proof of such outrageous assertions is always lacking.
Seems blacks cast more votes than whites in November 2012. Must be because so many whites were turned away. Yep, that’s gotta be it.

And then there‘s this from the Wall Street Journal:
“In the past three presidential elections, very few Americans reported having problems or difficulties voting according to Pew Research Center surveys. In its Nov. 8-12 poll in 2012, just 4% of whites answered yes to the question: ‘Did you have any problems or difficulties voting this year, or not.’ Only 2% of African-Americans responded affirmatively.
“Four years earlier, the comparable figures were 3% for whites and 4% for blacks, and in 2004, 5% and 3% respectively.”
John Fund has been covering voter fraud extensively. He writes that the real culprit of voter suppression in 2012 wasn’t voter ID.
It was the IRS.

MUST SEE VIDEO: Rand Paul takes Congress to school
Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul chastised his Senate colleagues Tuesday for conducting a “show trial” against Apple. Lawmakers were holding hearings about offshore tax avoidance by the maker of Mac computers.
The hearing was called by Michigan Democratic Sen. Carl Levin, who previously referred to Apple’s tax practices as “creative tax gimmickry.” A recent Senate investigation uncovered that Apple did not pay $9 billion in 2012 due to offshore subsidiaries. The company paid $6 billion in taxes last year.
