Season 7 Wait Till Next Year, '24' Fans The biggest casualty of the three-month writers' strike, which recently ended, is the Fox terrorism drama ‘24.’ The hour-long drama won't come back until January 2009. The Fox network wants to air the next season, 24 episodes, consecutively. Only the first eight episodes are in the can. Fox said the late start seemed to be the best way to give viewers their wish that the episodes air without interruption..30 Rock

No love for “Journeyman,” “Bionic Woman” or “Friday Night Lights.” None are yet officially cancelled (NBC doesn’t announce its complete fall schedule until May), but the buzz is they’re all longshots for renewal. We already know “Celebrity Apprentice” and “American Gladiators” are back next season.
NBC RENEWS DRAMA SERIES 'CHUCK, 'LIFE' AND 'HEROES' FOR 2008-09 SEASON
NBC has picked up its freshman drama series "Chuck" and "Life" -- as well as its hit "Heroes" -- for the 2008-09 season, it was announced today all three series will have major re-launch campaigns next year.
