Jennifer is a one in a million stay-at-home mom. (More like one OF a million stay at home moms!) She graduated from a liberal arts college but there is nothing liberal OR artsy about her. She is married to Kevin Fischer of This Just In, and together they have a beautiful young daughter Kyla Audrey. In no particular order she loves dogs, wine, a good bargain, her family, pizza, and entertaining. Follow her blog of all things miscellaneous including but not limited to cooking and baking, entertaining and party planning, being a mommy, and homekeeping.

(Perhaps more on that in a separate blog.) I still pop on FB a few times a day to check in on things or post a quick status update. (Those updates are, for the most part, what Kyla has done recently at school or to thank friends for coming to a party we hosted.) I just think that at least with Pinterest you can gain some new ideas, etc. I’ve seen a snarky comment on occasion but in general, it’s a bunch of people (I’d say 99.9% women) with common hobbies sharing things they find interesting. Politics doesn’t find its way on to Pinterest at the crazy rate it does on Facebook, and spousal disagreements aren’t aired via pins.
Gee… if I’m too busy pinning new recipes to try, party themes for Kyla, and DIY projects for our home to be on Facebook, does that mean I’m emotionally well-adjusted and I feel loved? Could be…
