In Memory of My Aunt Caren Parsons

My Aunt Caren died today August 1st 2013.  She had been in the hospital and the doctors told us it would be quick as her body was shutting down.  She had battled many cancers over the years and they took a toll on her.

2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon chopped green onions

Heat Advisory for 8-27 and Cooling Sites in Cudahy

The National Weather Service has issued a HEAT ADVISORY for August 27th from noon to 8:00 PM.  The Cudahy Health Department wants to remind you that summer heat waves have been the biggest weather-related killers in Wisconsin.  Last year, 27 people died in Wisconsin as a result of health-related issues from heat.  Most at risk are elderly, young children, and those with chronic medical conditions.
