I am a husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. I believe in sharing my talents and experiences by giving back to the community by giving my time to coaching, church and especially to the disability community. I truly believe that all men and women are created equally.

Farmers Market Opens

Clare Oasis is proud to announce the 2012 Indoor / Outdoor Farmers Market every Tuesday evening from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm running from Tuesday, May 1st – Tuesday, October 9th, 2012. It will be located on the grounds of the Marian Center for Nonprofits, 3211 South Lake Drive, Saint Francis, WI 53235.

The 2012 Indoor / Outdoor Farmers Market will provide something for everyone! The Outdoor Area includes local Produce Vendors marketing fresh and organic produce, meats, eggs and honey AND also, local Product, Bakery, Food and Beverage Vendors showcasing and selling their wares. The Indoor Area includes Crafters, Artisans and other local Creative Product Vendors marketing their handiwork. There will also be the “Creative Corner” providing a unique entertainment experience or activity for young and old each week.

Legislators Who Take the Time to Experience the Impact of Issues

I think that it should be mandatory that anytime a Legislator (Local, State or National) is going to vote on an issue, they spend time with those that will be most affected by their decision.

Partners in PolicyMaking - Session 5

Hard to believe that there is only 1 session left.  Just 5 months ago, I started this journey with 29 other individuals from across the State, most of them strangers.  If it were not for this class, I would probably have never gotten to know them.  I am sure that our paths would have crossed at some point as we advocated for individuals with disabilities, but I would not have gotten to know them.  Today, I consider each and every one of them a friend.  Each one has a story to tell.  Each one has gifts that they share with other families in their region to help make the lives of individuals with disabilities a whole lot better.
