Why Not

I am a husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. I believe in sharing my talents and experiences by giving back to the community by giving my time to coaching, church and especially to the disability community. I truly believe that all men and women are created equally.

Disability Advocacy Day 2013

Would you like to have the opportunity speak with your elected officials in their Madison offices to discuss the disability issues that are most important to you? Then sign up for Disability Advocacy Day hosted by Survival Coalition (http://www.survivalcoalitionwi.org/).

It is a great opportunity to speak with your elected officials and some members of their staff.  This will be the 3rd or 4th year that we have attended.  As a parent, we feel that this is important enough to have all of the kids attend with us, not just Tyler.  There is no better civics lesson that can be taught in any school then to go to the State Capitol and speak with your elected officials.  It is not about whether or not you always agree with them.  It is about the opportunity to share your concerns with them.

Yet, this is what is going on today.

Thank You

I wanted to say Thank You to everybody that supported me during the Aldermanic Primary.  Whether you knocked doors, passed out literature, displayed a yard sign, talked me up to a neighbor and most importantly voted for me, Thank You.

I enjoyed knocking doors and having conversations with my neighbors. I learned so much from you as I listened to your concerns.  I think what really impressed me the most is how many people had positive things to say about Cudahy and how much they enjoy living in the Community. Not that this should come as a surprise to me because as I replied to Jenn's Blog on What is Good about Cudahy, that the citizens are our biggest asset to Cudahy.
