New Kid's View

Family lured Jerrianne and her husband to South Milwaukee in 2002 from Southern California where she worked as, first, a journalist, then, as a court information officer. She now stays busy with media-relations consulting, playing with her three grandchildren (part of the lure), writing, discovering her new environs, and hoping her garden will produce before the first fall frost.

School accountability, vouchers, choice schools, charter schools, school funding, state budget, South Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Cudahy, St. Francis, The Wisconsin Coalition for Children

Accountability.

Gift Shoppe Peace Pole Made in USA

The Gift Shoppe, yard art, Cudahy, Stephanie Burgess

Made in the U.S. is but one benefit of buying this beautiful work of yard art. Since I bought it at The Gift Shoppe in Cudahy, I supported a local business. Since the artist is based in Washington state, I supported a U.S. artist. And it adds a lovely spash of color in my front border garden. They come in three sizes. Check 'em out at The Gift Shoppe, 4805 S. Packard Ave. or at http://www.thegiftshoppe.net/. Check out artist Stephanie Burgess's work at http://www.paintedpeace.com/.
