I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.
For the last three weeks I have been battling what some days feels like the flu and other days a chest cold.
Just when I feel good, it wallops me back down.
I get this wax/wane fever going on and I know fevers are one of your body’s defenses and I have stopped taking Tylenol to break them in hopes it will shorten this battle.
I am the type of person who would rather have a head cold than chest cold, the coughing just keeps me awake at night (not to mention no one at my house gets sleep with my loud cough especially if it becomes a coughing spell). With a head cold you can take stuff to breathe and relieve the head pressure but the chest cold needs to be thinned or you choke and cough/hack all night. Then on top of it your throat hurts from the coughing and drainage and your stomach muscles too.
To beat my opponent I will subject myself to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons water four to six times daily.
My opponent, this chest cold given to me by my daughter home from school for the holidays, sure is putting a whipping on me but I know in the end I will be victorious over it as my character will see me through it and anything else thrown my way.
