I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.
If ALEC Was So Bad Why Do The Liberals Want Their Own Version Of It?
On the Capitol: First there was ALEC, now there's progressive-focused ALICE
There exists a four-letter acronym that for many Democrats brings to mind the forces of darkness; a shadowy cadre of puppet masters that spread pro-business, conservative gospel to every state legislature in the land.
ALEC. The American Legislative Exchange Council.
Around since the mid-70s, ALEC has in the past decade established itself as one of the main laboratories for conservative ideas, shared in conferences and taken back to states where they are promptly introduced into legislatures.
Republicans like it. Democrats hate it. But until now, the progressive party has not really had an answer for it.
This month, Joel Rogers and his Center on Wisconsin Strategy launched the cleverly named ALICE, the American Legislative and Issue Campaign Exchange, as a one-stop, web-based, public library of progressive ideas on a wide range of issues in state and local policy.
So another one of these Lefty decry something and it really isn’t true. Notice ALEC has been around since the 70’s and if ALEC is so bad why do the Liberals want their own version?
Doesn't that seem a bit...well...hypocritical on Liberal's part? It's good to know what the OTHER side is really like. Your agenda is showing.

Liberals never admit to their own labeling and hate speech and its consequences.
Liberals call everyone who disagrees with them a hate group.
Liberals however, think they know what's best for everyone: the nanny state.
To be a Liberal is to be a hypocrite. Sorry they don’t like to be called a Liberal it is Progressive now. Liberal has a bad connotation so they want to go bad to an older word for them in hopes people cannot put two and two together.
Liberals Progressives cannot recognize their OWN hypocrisy and double-standards!
To be a Progressive is to be a hypocrite!
Liberals Progressives whine about "freedom" and complain about the Patriot Act -- but then allow trash collectors to inspect your trash (to make sure that you are recycling) or your dog's sexual organs to make sure that it has been neutered (or you will face a fine).
The typical liberal progressive, everyone gets a gold star (except conservatives) – no consequence of failure or recognition of successful performance.
Liberals Progressives believe government should protect you from you that’s it in a nutshell.
Liberals Progressives love to create laws that protect you from yourself, just like the New York soda law.
Conservatives believe the government should only be protecting ME from YOU.
Liberals Progressives want people to depend on government for as much as possible.
Conservatives want the government out of their lives as much as possible.
Liberals Progressives want everyone the same, because anything else is "unfair."
Conservatives recognize and celebrate individualism.
Liberals Progressives want kids to grow up without knowing failure.
Conservatives want kids to grow up prepared for reality.
When liberals talk fairness it is only fairness as they define it. The right talks about equal opportunities and liberal talk about equal outcomes.
Someone much keener than I said this, “Liberal stupidity is taught to people who want to feel good about themselves. Me as a conservative, I know I am right I don’t need someone to tell me I am. Liberals are taught, and then told they are right!”
