Wisconsin actually added 23,321 jobs in 2011. This is 57,221 more than original estimates suggested earlier this year and is very good news about the economy in Wisconsin.
The new numbers reflect an actual survey of more than 150,000 employers in the state (that is more than 96% of the employers). The original estimates were a poll of about 3.5% of the businesses (which makes them unreliable).
Bottom-line: Wisconsin added 23,321 jobs in 2011 and continues to add jobs this year!
New #s based on actual survey of 150,000+ employers.
