I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.
Q. - I have yet to get any details on what insurance the Cudahy district uses. But as I’ve previously said, the current Board approved cutting athletics, art & music, clubs, and dissolving positions.
Instead of attending all these meetings, maybe the 'community activists' should attend the sports games, the art & music festivals, and some of the kid's clubs. Perhaps then they will get an idea on what is really going on.
A - It has been in excess of ten years ago--- I really do not remember when The Cudahy School District changed to self-funded health insurance. Humana is our carrier now and that is bid out for the best costs periodically but the rates are set on direct costs with claims handled by a third party administrator named Beneco. Beneco gives the administration quarterly reports on actual trends and expenses. The district has saved significant money through this program. If you have a direct question on this then contact Jim Heiden or Jim Papala.
