The reason why people are conservative is simple: the idea of liberty, private property, ect. However, that leaves one question: What drives people to be liberal?
Division and emotion-mongering. Liberalism is about dividing people for manipulation. First they pick a villain (scapegoat) and a victim. They work hard trying to make the villain feel guilty and the victim hate the villain. Take their rich vs. poor scheme as an example, socialists make rich out to be greedy and rob from the poor. So they work hard making anybody who’s rich feel bad for themselves and build up jealousy and hate for the rich from the poor. So, in essence the only reason liberalism and socialism exists is because of their hate-mongering and guilt-mongering. It works the same way with their divisiveness when it comes to races. And that emotional manipulation and divisiveness is completely, utterly despicable.
They often say that capitalism is only based off greed. However, in reality, so is socialism. The only way for socialists to gain power, even according to Karl Marx himself who said that communism can only thrive in an advanced capitalist society with a huge difference between the rich and poor that can be exploited, is to, as I just said, take advantage of jealousy from the poor. In all truth, jealousy is just greed’s ugly cousin. The poor are greedy for what the rich have. So socialism is based off of taking advantage of greed, and manipulating it for the evil purpose of governments obtaining power. If you look at capitalism, it involves greed as well. However, it manipulates the evil of greed so it’s focused on competition in markets for the betterment of society instead of other evil purposes.
So, when you look at liberals and conservatives you choose: the emotion-mongering, divisive one, or the liberty-loving one?
