The Way I See It!

I am an Ultra-Conservative, Alpha-Male, True Authentic Leader, Type "C" Personality, who is very active in my community; whether it is donating time, clothes or money for Project Concern or going to Common Council meetings and voicing my opinions. As a blogger, I intend to provide a different viewpoint "The way I see it!" on various world, national and local issues with a few helpful tips & tidbits sprinkled in.

Ads for Chris Abele may lead readers to think we've recommended him in the April 5 election.  We haven't.

We did recommend Abele, a Milwaukee philanthropist, in the February primary when he ran against four other opponents.  Once the race narrowed to two - Abele and state Rep. Jeff Stone of Greendale - we did what we always do: We decided to take another hard look at the two remaining candidates.  We're in the process of doing that.

 

Editorial page recommendations are a product of reporting and discussion by our seven-member board.  That board is a separate operation from the department that reports on news events - we're even in a different room.  News editors and reporters don't tell us what to write.  And we certainly don't tell them what to write.

 

The bottom line: We're still doing our homework.  We haven't made a recommendation, no matter what you may have heard from the Abele campaign.
