Clare Oasis (http://clare-oasis.org/) is hosting the Father/Daughter event The Cinderella Ball. The event is being held on Saturday October 9, from 5:00-9:00 at the Marian Center for Nonprofits. The Ball is designed for promoting family values, encouraging youth philanthropy and creating magical memories that last a lifetime.
The philanthropy requested is 2 rolls of pennies that are to be donated to The Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin (http://www.dsaw.org/). The goal is to raise enough money to offer 1 scholarship for next years Lose the Training Wheels,(http://www.dsaw.org/lose-the-training-wheels.aspx) the goal is to teach an individual with a developmental disability to ride a two wheel bike in one week.
The mission of Clare Oasis is two-fold
To become a State of the Art, Multi-Tenant Nonprofit Center which cultivates, nurtures and sustains the organizational and collaborative capacity of nonprofits by providing affordable, attractive office space accompanied by shared supportive services.
To become a center for community which respects, empowers and celebrates the individual by providing educational, inspirational and social opportunities to build dreams, enhance livability and build a better world.
