Why Not

I am a husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. I believe in sharing my talents and experiences by giving back to the community by giving my time to coaching, church and especially to the disability community. I truly believe that all men and women are created equally.

Cinderella Ball

Clare Oasis (http://clare-oasis.org/) is hosting the Father/Daughter event The Cinderella Ball.  The event is being held on Saturday October 9, from 5:00-9:00 at the Marian Center for Nonprofits.  The Ball is designed for promoting family values, encouraging youth philanthropy and creating magical memories that last a lifetime.

The philanthropy requested is 2 rolls of pennies that are to be donated to The Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin (http://www.dsaw.org/).  The goal is to raise enough money to offer 1 scholarship for next years Lose the Training Wheels,(http://www.dsaw.org/lose-the-training-wheels.aspx) the goal is to teach an individual with a developmental disability to ride a two wheel bike in one week.

The mission of Clare Oasis is two-fold

To become a State of the Art, Multi-Tenant Nonprofit Center which cultivates, nurtures and sustains the organizational and collaborative capacity of nonprofits by providing affordable, attractive office space accompanied by shared supportive services.

To become a center for community which respects, empowers and celebrates the individual by providing educational, inspirational and social opportunities to build dreams, enhance livability and build a better world.
