Students Collect Thousands of Donations for Project Concern
Project Concern's shelves are stocked with nearly 2,000 additional items thanks to students at Kosciuszko Elementary School.
Kosciuszko’s Student Council held a food drive for one week, asking students to bring in any donations they wanted as well as specific items such as boxed foods, peanut butter and canned fruits, vegetables and tuna.
Students collected a total of 1,886 items for Project Concern. The K4 class brought in the greatest number of donations – 315 -- and will be rewarded with an ice cream party.
